Most citizen who deal with short-term memory loss have an instant self-judgment when it occurs. We tend to use our thoughts and memories as crutch that we lean on so that we feel solid and grounded. I recommend a new way to feel solid and in the occasion and ready to deal with life's challenges. If we were able to lean on our breath and consequent the subtle flow beyond our thoughts, short-term memory loss would not be a problem. Here are 5 points we need to be consciously in the occasion with short-term memory loss.
- Being in the occasion has your focus naturally beyond the thoughts of your problems. This is where, without trying to be in that known state of mind, your awareness evolves to a higher state of being. You are more sensitive, more creative and more independent.
- The ability to relax allows The Wisdom of the Body to breathe you. This removes focusing on thinking and allows your breath to float through you, avoiding any stress. When you relax to this state, negative thoughts may bubble up, but you avoid the anxious reaction to them and allow a deeper wisdom to deal with those thoughts.
- In Latin, the word 'worry' comes from the word for 'choke.' This is when you breathe into negative thoughts and your breath is cut short. Short breath does not give life to your deepest wisdom and automatically creates tension in your body.
- We may try to accurate shallow breaths with a conscious, deep breath, but that still keeps us in the realm of trying to do something. We try to do what we think we can't do. For instance, you don't try to sit down on a chair you sit in regularly; you just sit in it. We don't try to breathe unless we don't trust The Wisdom of the Body.
- The main ability that puts us in the occasion is simple surrender. This is not a surrender to something exterior of you; this is where you surrender your consciousness to your deepest wisdom, which gives it life. We give life to whatever we breathe into. If we breathe into thoughts, we commence them in our consciousness. If we breathe into The Wisdom of the Body beyond our thoughts, our awareness lands at that depth and we surrender.
When you have a short-term memory loss and you don't resist it, these goals are easy to accomplish. Of course, you do not need a short-term memory loss to perform these lofty goals, but a short-term memory loss traps you in the occasion where these goals naturally appear.
